Garnier Clean+ Cleansing Oil

So I've been super excited to see drugstore brands coming out with cleansing oils. I got a sample of Josie Maran's argan cleansing oil and loved it enough to buy the full size. However, I was always on the look out for something similar but much more affordable.

I was meandering through the beauty section of Target the other day, trying to squash the impulse to buy absolutely everything when I saw the new Garnier Clean+ skincare line. Lo and behold, the cleansing oil was there and I snapped that baby up without a second thought.

I've been using it for a little over a week now, so I have a pretty solid opinion on it. Like with any cleansing oil, you rub it in on a dry face and then add a little warm water to emulsify and then rinse away the makeup! In my opinion, it doesn't remove eye makeup as well as the Josie Maran cleanser I was using. However, I feel like it's pretty comparable on the rest of my face and if I can just stop being lazy and use a separate eye makeup remover it'll be no problem. It seems to leave some sort of barrier or residue behind, which is probably just the nourishing part of the cleanser. I prefer to follow up with a mild cleanser though.

I will definitely continue to use and buy the Garnier cleansing oil. It's affordable (roughly $5.99) and works well. I took a horrible picture and cut the top off, but it's a pump top.
